Who We Are
-
Our approach is grounded in classical Pilates but adapted to the person in front of us. Experience authentic Pilates in Tacoma, where the goal is not just to move better, but to help each person feel stronger, safer, and more confident in their own body.
-
At North End Pilates in Tacoma, many clients come in with bodies that need a more thoughtful approach. We work with people who are looking for strength, stability, and whole-body support.
We commonly work with students navigating:
Hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Chronic pain or chronic illness
Post-injury strength rebuilding
Neck, shoulder, hip, back, and SI discomfort
Postural imbalances and movement compensation patterns
Core weakness and instability
Pre + Postnatal bodies
Nervous system sensitivity or exercise intolerance
Bodies that have felt overlooked, overcorrected, or misunderstood in traditional fitness settings.
-
North End Pilates is led by Ace, physiologist and master-level Pilates educator with over 15 years of teaching experience and a strong background in Kinesiology, physical therapy-based movement, and metabolic and nervous system health.
Her work is shaped by years of hands-on experience with a wide range of bodies — from athletes and dancers to pre/postnatal clients, hypermobile bodies, chronic pain, injury recovery, aging bodies, and clients with complex medical considerations.
